I’m in a big, spacious room, with ceilings so high, my own poor arms could never be able to reach. The floor was checkered black and white, like a blank chessboard. I notice two ladies running the counter up front; one looking slightly older than the other. I walk up to pay for my ticket, and inserted my card into the machine. The younger-looking lady proceeds by smiling when she hands me the ticket and says, “Room ten”. I then walk over to the other half of the counter where the slightly older lady appears to be waiting for me. There was a candy case filled with all sorts of goodies to my left, and I picked up a blue, thin, rectangular box of chocolate blobs filled with crisped rice, like a Crunch Bar! The woman then proceeds by asking, “Is there anything else that I can get for you today”? I respond my inserting my card into yet another card machine, and she responds by saying, “Enjoy the show!” As me and my group of friends enter the big, dim room, I noticed this place smelled different then the one we have back in my hometown. Also, it seemed the TV screen we’d be watching from was a lot bigger and wider than the screens we’d watch from in my hometown. The chair I sat in was comfortable, soft and red, with plenty of leg room for my feet! As the evening continued, I heard numerous sounds like a bag of candy was dropped as it was being passed down my aisle where my friends and I sat. I also heard numerous coughs from what appeared to be an older gentleman sitting a few aisles in front of us, from what I could make out in the room with the overwhelming sight of darkness and the flash of colors from the TV screen. I also heard murmurs of sound being spoken among my friends, as well as numerous gunshots, many of which startled me half to death! It felt as if some of the chocolate blobs in my candy box were starting to melt as I grabbed them from my box to eat them. Finally, two times during that evening I turned to the right to see my friend, and I happened to notice that tears were trickling down his face.
